House Update Through 9/24

The slab is set and we're starting in on Framing

This shot is from across the street by the mailboxes (looking north up the driveway)
Our lovely orange fence to keep foundation workers from parking on the rosemary
This is the back of the house, the slab is to the left. The window is the kids' room (soon to be guest room).
We got our first delivery of wood for framing.
The horse chestnuts are starting to drop and the kids have been collecting them in buckets.
The roof is off the back half of the house so that the pony walls can be built. Peter spends a LOT of time on tarping!
Paisley and the kids on the corner of Market and 19th.
The horrible photinia hedge is taking forever to grow back!
Peter volunteered to pitch in and help get things moving with the framers - they assigned him the job of moving sheets of particleboard from the driveway to the entry slab (about 10 feet).
Ok... it might be more like 5 feet...
FUN!
